( MINGLE - WEEK 4 )
![]() The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the buildings surrounding the motel, it seems like the Library is now open. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 4! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Remember that we can't have a murdergame without any murders, so go forth and let the bodies hit the floor. As always, feel free to PM us or send us a PP over plurk if you have any questions! ic rulebook | locations | statuses | room assignments private conversations | ic profiles | graveyard | full navigation |

INFO SHARING: organ dlc edition, monday evening
Alright guys, the Disposal Room is open, probably because of... the Ghost dying and talking about it, knowing this place. The light is busted because Kaiba doesn't know how to flick on a switch. [did you think he'd let it go, kaiba. no.] I'd recommend keeping out of it until that's fixed. It's a morgue, and yes, the bodies of our dead are in there-- but they're kind of ... in pieces. If you value your lunches, do not look at those. Seriously.
[he's getting a little green just talking about it. oops.]
There are forty-one morgue freezers in there, but the only ones labelled so far are all our dead, so your guess is as good as mine as to why there's one missing. [he says, like he doesn't have a theory and everyone knows it] The hearts are held in separate jars, and since Mira collected those that's probably... why. Gross and creepy for the whole family. [you can tell he is so, so tired, guys.] There were seven hearts in jars total-- Marty's and Rachel's were missing for, uh, obvious messed up reasons, but... we're also missing Dave Strider's heart. [@ dave sorry????]
Oh, yeah, also, if you go in there, do not touch anything. It turns out "Mother" or whatever can see in there and she does not want us messing with it. Crazy demon voice stuff. Super cool.
[he is... winding down and just shrugs in acceptance]
So. Um. Yep, that's it from me. Cool gore and stuff. [a beat] Oh, and we checked and no one was missing any teeth or fingers, so that's a horrifying mystery still ongoing. I'm gonna go have nightmares in my room now.

Why would Dave's be missing? [ yeah that's. the most concerning thing save dave strider?? or at least his heart wtf. ] Thank you, Dipper, for telling is. It sounds like it was... sure something. There being one missing freezer would make me think that maybe one of us isn't... one of us, I suppose.
[ is there anything here that's not a nightmare ]
no subject
I don't know. His heart wasn't involved in anything else, but... he's also the only non-ritual kill, right? He was killed outside of the game rules. [that's the best he can come up with.]
It might mean that one of us is a vessel for "Mother", yeah. That's what I've been thinking.[should you be saying that out loud, dipper...]

[Look he's just saying they weren't where they should be and not immediately visible in a jar or something, so, uh. They might be around?? And not vanished like Dave's heart?? Maybe???]
no subject
Hmmm, yep, okay, I might've missed that by refusing to look at the... leftover bodies. At all. [let him live he is 12 and doesn't need this shit] Alright, so. Eyes. Eyes. What could eyes mean? Did she see something? Or is it because she killed herself instead of being murdered?

I mean... at least that means it wasn't collected by an evil ancient demonic entity who calls herself mommy?

...Im glad I have the answer to why Mira regretted never "collecting" me.
[ A visible wince though because that's not right at all. ]
Thanks for the info, at the risk of the horrors stuck in your head now.
Maybe the fingers are leftover from a previous ritual?

[he hums in thought]
Yeah, I considered that. Just... old body parts they've got just hanging around. The only thing that seems off is why show them to us if it's not relevant?
