SURVIVORS: 32 The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the buildings surrounding the motel, it seems like the Library is now open. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 4! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Which is a lot less than I expected.

It makes sense when you think of that only three people can supposedly survive in the end. That's one spot for each of them.

I assume that if those three are working for the one who brought us here, then any other murder outside of them is probably just extra. Maybe they exist simply in the chance that no one else falls for the offered incentive.

That makes sense, three just seems like... a lowball number to making sure your murder ritual goes honky dory.

Maybe that's why they offer incentives to everyone else, so they have the extra room.

[ who knows?? jay isn't a weird tentacle goddess or whatever the shit mother is. ]

They have to be, if they're going to kill people every week.

[ after all, you have to be pretty sure of your skills. ]

Not sure how I feel about that. Generally not great? I'm gonna go with that.

Anyone can kill another person, Dipper, with the right motivation. But to cover that murder up? It's another skill set entirely.

[ it's how like kamui barely did anything to hide the evidence pointing to him, while mira covered her tracks a lot better. ]

They don't have to be experienced. They just need to be thorough, and actually care about not being caught.
