( MINGLE - WEEK 3 )
![]() The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it doesn't seem like there's anything out of the ordinary on this lovely Monday morning. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 3! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Without any murders we can't have a murdergame, so go forth and let the bodies hit the floor! As always, feel free to PM us or send us a PP over plurk if you have any questions! ic rulebook | locations | statuses | room assignments private conversations | ic profiles | graveyard | full navigation |

[Mira is bored as hell. So she's going to just head to the museum and use a black marker to drawing mustaches on all the paintings of people in the museum. She's an adult and no one can stop her.]
Spa + Wellness Center - Wednesday morning
[Wanting to get away from the motel for a while, Mira is going to be at the Spa. Over there she has a new bottle of black nail polish, which is great because her poor nails are practically faded by now. Both fingers and toes need to be refined. No one better have some weird kinks if they see her.]
Diner - Wednesday evening
[Toward the evening, Mira will be in the diner because it's the only place here that plays any music. Quietly, when she thinks she's alone, she'll sway to a gentle melody in peace. But if someone does happen to enter, she'll turn over to them with a small grin.]
Know how to dance? You should join me.
Wildcard
[Good from Mon - Thurs. Let me know if you want to do anything via pm or just pinging me on plurk @ thejoyful]

Having a personal beauty day today? Black's a bold choice.
[ as if her tiddies aren't out all the time ]

It's my favorite nail color. Anything else never quite looks as good to me. [She looks over to Heather and grins.] Want me to do yours?

[ and she points up to her head. it's pretty obvious what she means — her roots have grown out about 4 inches. ]

What do you think? Mustache makes it more refined looking I say.
no subject
It's a start. You hafta give 'em monocles if you want to go for the completely refined look, though.

...really? I saw mustaches before I found you, but I thought Kaito had done it, not you.
[Because in his opinion Kaito is totally the type to paint mustaches on portraits]

Just bored as hell is all. What makes you think Kaito would do something like that?

[Aloy's definitely grinning as she watches Mira do this though - cultural differences or not, she is all about defacing these dumb painting.]

WEDNESDAY EVENING
He's not entirely familiar with Mira, they've probably crossed paths in their three weeks here, spoken to each other in passing at the trials, but that's all.
She reminds him of Kujaku Mai, oddly enough. ]
Of course.
[ He's not... good at it, mostly because he hasn't done it in a while - he ditched it when he could, although he's been to enough formal galas and events to at least remember the basics. ]
I was never really a fan of it, though.
