( MINGLE - WEEK 2 )
![]() The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Storage room has unlocked itself overnight. How quaint. Welcome to Week 2's mingle, everyone! As of this week, we are now accepting murder proposals. If you're interested in having your character murder someone this week, please send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. We'll be contacting you on plurk over the week to finalize the details, or ask for rescheduling if necessary. As always, feel free to PM us or send us a PP over plurk if you have any questions! ic rulebook | locations | statuses | room assignments private conversations | ic profiles | graveyard | full navigation |

[ Knoll had done his best to have himself crawl out of the bed, though he hadn't been able to shake the terror of yesterday's morning from his mind. Thinking about it was enough for him to nearly tremble--was that shameful, he wondered? He wasn't the only one who had witnessed it, after all.
He doesn't quite have the idea of where he wishes to go, though, he's wound up in the lobby. He'll be standing nearby the potted plants for a moment, wondering why the need for artificial plants, and then he will take a step closer to that mirror. Though, he doesn't do much else.
He's murmuring to himself a little. ]
...They do certainly like their smoke and mirrors...
Wednesday; City Hall
[ Today, Knoll's attending City Hall--he'll slip right inside and enter into the Public Collection. Though, anything that's out doesn't interest him much, and soon he's standing outside the room for the Public Archives. He sighs, hand going to lightly press against the door. ]
What a pity...
[ He presses two fingers against his forehead, a bit weary. Then again, perhaps he shouldn't have expected this place to open up too. ]
Thursday; Botanical Garden
[ It has been a few days; Hana is now one of the dead alongside Jason... this is an indisputable fact. Though, it is only now that he comes into the garden--though his visit is intended to be very brief. He carefully took two flowers from the gardens--two purple chrysanthemums. ]
Wild Card
[ For those who wish to choose a scenario not indicated in the above. I can be contacted at
Thursday
[Hey there. Apollo was passing by when he saw KNoll pick those flowers, may as well ask. Flowers don't really have practical use, and Apollo isn't knowledgeable about flower symbolism]
no subject
There are many other flowers here that can be used for someone who had passed, and these are one of them. Though, they can be a symbol for 'rebirth' and enduring life as well.
...They are also easy to take care of, and don't wilt too quickly. So, I thought that they may be fitting for the recently departed.
no subject
[Well it's not a bad idea, and the meaning is fitting]
Got a place in mind to put them in? It's the kind of thing that'd be better where people can see it. It'd be like a memorial for the departed.
no subject
Oh, I see. Well...I don't have a place in mind. Would you like to help me pick out one?
no subject
[Apollo crosses his arms]
If you can find a way to make sure nobody can mess with it that'd be a good place.

Monday
[ Hey there Knoll, Hibiki will just pop out from seemingly nowhere again.]
no subject
Yes, it seems so...
[ ... ]
... We've had quite a mess on our hands, haven't we? And I'm not talking about just yesterday's.
no subject
Yes, we have. I'm not a stranger to acts of violence or executions, but they should be done properly...there was no need to make her suffer like that. [ And she was innocent so--]
no subject
No, there wasn't. I didn't think that...
[ Knoll closed his eyes. He should have thought about it a little harder. ]
I don't want to think about it. But, it's hard not to, with how much cruelty they showed.
[ Valter would have a field day. ]
no subject
We can't let that happen again, no matter what the cost.

monday
What about the mirror?
[... k, apparently he didn't get that]
no subject
[ He then turns to face Dipper, and a curious expression falls over him. ]
...There is an old saying about mirrors, you know. Do you wish to hear it?
no subject
[there is a healthy dose of unsureness on Dipper's face re: the old saying]
Uhhhhhh. Sure? Is it the one about breaking them?
no subject
[ He'll shake his head, looking a bit amused for a moment. ]
No, not that one--but another. I have heard it has been said that mirrors are the windows to other dimensions. Do you believe it could be true?

City Hall
[Mabel kicks the door]
Because that's my bet!
no subject
[ Return of the squishy mage: electric boogaloo. ]
no subject
[Mabel may be a tiny girl, but she's definitely willing to punch her way through life]
It's like my Grunkle Stan always says, when one door closes..... pick a nearby wall and bash it in with brute strength!
[she launches herself at the wall. Stay tuned for disaster]
no subject
W-wait! You shouldn't just--
[ ... Knoll's reaction time is proooobably too slow as he reaches out to her to try to stop her, because, yeah. ]
no subject
[that was effective]

wild card!; hunting lodge
here they are, outside of the hunting lodge — percival stands before knoll, fitted in a red tracksuit. ]
I'll be testing your physical strength. Hit me as hard as you're able.
no subject
Alright, I shall.
[ He'll step forward and make a punch, aimed towards the other male's chest. Honestly, when or if it connects, it probably won't feel like very much... ]
no subject
he then shakes his head and sneers. ]
That tickled.
[ suddenly, percival draws near him and grips him by the arm. ]
Thumb in. [ he nudges it in himself. ] Knuckles up, palms down. You never attack using the strength of your arms — it's a joined effort. Your hip turns, not your arm.
[ percival finally pulls away, but without a moment's notice he begins to run. ]
I'm testing your stamina next. Follow me for as long as you're able.
no subject
... I'll try my best.
[ And try Knoll does, but in comparison to other mages in Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones' time, for some reason dark mages move the slowest. So, needless to say, he has difficulty keeping up, and he's not very close (the distance widens about around fifteen minutes) to the other man, but...he's still running so it's something.
Then about around twenty-five minutes he needs to stop. ]
Ha...ha.
