( MINGLE - WEEK 2 )
![]() The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Storage room has unlocked itself overnight. How quaint. Welcome to Week 2's mingle, everyone! As of this week, we are now accepting murder proposals. If you're interested in having your character murder someone this week, please send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. We'll be contacting you on plurk over the week to finalize the details, or ask for rescheduling if necessary. As always, feel free to PM us or send us a PP over plurk if you have any questions! ic rulebook | locations | statuses | room assignments private conversations | ic profiles | graveyard | full navigation |

Hopefully I can. Though, if anyone did mess with it, that would bring misfortune upon them.
[ Respect the dead and all that. ]

After what had just happened last week, I was simply reminded of that. But, we'll see I suppose.

[Apollo hasn't met anyone who is a major jerk for the sake of being a major jerk, all the criminals and killers he knows always had a concrete objective in mind]
It's still worth a try. What do you need besides those two flowers? I'll help you.

[ ... He is sure Apollo would flip if he had the chance to meet Valter. Then again, who wouldn't. Still, for now he concedes. ]
I supposed I'll need something to put them in... like a small pot? Though, I supposed we could put them in cups too. I don't believe I need much else besides that.

[And there he's back, with a small pot]
Do you do this kind of thing often back at your home? Looking for flowers for special occasions and remembering the dead for one reason or another?
no subject
There are many back home who do this. I...
[ He's about to say he doesn't, but then, he recalls Prince Lyon and a grave of flowers. His eyes are filled with sorrow and a tinge of regret. ]
I didn't do it very often. But, after what had happened, I thought Hana and Jason deserved that much. It's a reasonable thought... isn't it?

[Cheer up, Knoll, it'll be fine]

I think it sounds more than just cliché--it sounds just about right.
[ ... ]
Hmm, can you humor me for a little? If you returned home, what would you do?
no subject
[They must be deadly worried about him. Apollo hopes they're not in a state of continuous panic. They're competent, but it's doubtful they'll think of looking in another world]
Why the question?
no subject
[ He begins to reach for the pot. ]
no subject
You have been thinking of what you'd like to do once you're back at home, haven't you?
[At least that seems like the likely reason]
no subject
No. I don't even know if I will return home [ ye of little faith strikes again. ], and on the chance I do, I have already decided what I will do.
no subject
And what is it?
no subject
... Disappear. I've done all that I can to help my fellow people, and it would not serve anyone well if I were to linger within the kingdom.
[ Living out a life as a hermit as his own personal punishment, essentially. ]
