SURVIVORS: ?? The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Kitchen, Dining Hall and Disposal room are still under constructions. Meals will be served in the Pool/Outdoor Dining Area in the meantime. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 5! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. [He's amused about something, in a wry, sad way.] "It keeps happening." That's a line from one of Dave's comics—or, I don't know. Maybe it was just in my Bro's movies. It's regarding stairs, which a dude was warned about, down which he kept fallin'.

It kinda feels like that. You're warned, but you keep falling down those damned stairs.

[ she laughs, but the sound of it is distinctly more confused than amused. like, it's funny, it is, and she gets the relevance, but the things that those two find funny is always so bizarre to her. she's sort of talking through the laughter: ]

It's a pretty weird joke, don't worry about it. Dave's sense of humour is fairly unique.

[ she doesn't want to make that plan with him, too. He's not a Dave replacement, and even aside from that... Dave died right after they made that plan.

[He freezes.]

[With a swallow, he shakes his head.]
