( MINGLE - WEEK 5 )

SURVIVORS: ??

The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors.

The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel.

And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Kitchen, Dining Hall and Disposal room are still under constructions. Meals will be served in the Pool/Outdoor Dining Area in the meantime. How quaint.

As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 5! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Without any murders we can't have a murdergame, so go forth and let the bodies hit the floor!

As always, feel free to PM us or send us a PP over plurk if you have any questions!

[ There's a lazy gaze upwards as she stops writing. Her fingertips are antsy against the paper. ]

...I think that's where Ryou went. Maybe. Genuinely, I don't think it's a good choice — it's a locked out part of our playing field either way. If this is a "game", an out-of-bounds could result in death, a glitch, or well... just getting stuck against an invisible wall.

[ She then grows silent. ]

I could be wrong though.

[What if they can clip through and jump over universes like Mario?????? wHAT THEN, CHIAKI]

You're more likely right. It'd be nice if we could ask Ryou.

...I'd rather just talk to him. [ Any way she could, honestly. AND LOOK GAMES ARE HARD. ] If he went out into the fog, I think he had to have gotten pretty far. He was gone a while but the stuff Percival found on him isn't on our maps or any brochure. It had to be the Lake. You know, outside of being dragged there for executions, none of us have been.

That would make sense. The road that way is clearly indicated, so he could have just followed it through the fog.

[ She slumps downwards a bit, nearly sliding down the stairs. ]

I wish I could have stopped him, but he wouldn't want me thinking that. He didn't need to do that — or do that alone. I'm going to see if I can re-read the newspaper, maybe there's more answers about the lore of this game.

...Something to add to the GameFAQs to help, anyway.

Let me know if you find any. Lore is usually a big tipoff when it comes to the final boss.
