SURVIVORS: ??

The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors.

The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel.

And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Kitchen, Dining Hall and Disposal room are still under constructions. Meals will be served in the Pool/Outdoor Dining Area in the meantime. How quaint.

As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 5! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Without any murders we can't have a murdergame, so go forth and let the bodies hit the floor!

To our Hunters,

We've been caught between two sides of a war. I understand this. You aren't making it very discreet.

Our Facilitators are looking for recruits. Cute, isn't it? It would be if you weren't failing us. Why haven't we heard from you? Do you think you're heroes with the weight of the world on your shoulders? Is that what it is?

Keep to yourselves and we're all going to suffer the consequences. You can't do this alone. You need us. You need the very same people you're supposedly protecting.

We're willing to help, but only if you're willing to receive.

Contact Craftly if you'd like to discuss this further. If you're a Facilitator looking to exploit this, please don't bother. I will tear out your throat with my bare hands. That's a promise :)

[You all must be tired of these notes by now. But once again, another one appears. And for once, the reply is to someone other than the two arguing piss baby groups.]

We know you have no reason to trust us. From your perspective, it looks like we have done nothing. Believe it or not, we did not start these notes simply to antagonize the Prophets. It was our way to inform you all, as a whole, that there is more going on without outing ourselves. In fact, it was actually recommended to us to keep you in the dark for the entirety of this game. None of us liked it, but last week we found ourselves in a position where we were finally able to find a compromise.

If all of you wish to return home safely, and not in a casket, then there are certain things we cannot say in public or else it'll jeopardize the mission we were given. We will not approach you because you tell us to, but we will approach those who we trust to help. There are already some of you who know.

P.S. Mother isn't her real name. You should probably stop embarrassing yourselves over Mira's bad joke. Just a helpful tip!

I grow tired of this.

These Prophets and Hunters claim superiority over the rest of us by virtue of the knowledge they have been granted. What did they do to earn that knowledge, I wonder? What gives them the right to see when we must stumble blindly?

It is difficult to say which group aggravates me more; the ones who openly threaten and mock us, or those who feed us vague implications as if they are doing a kindness by dangling the truth just beyond our reach. Both treat us like children, patronizing us while they hide behind lies and misdirections. Both are despicable.

Prophets, you are my enemies. Hunters, I refuse to consider you allies. Without the security of a faction by my side, my only choice is to rely on myself. I will do what I believe to be the right thing based on what little information I have been given. Pray that I do not find any of you.
