SURVIVORS: 32 The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the buildings surrounding the motel, it seems like the Library is now open. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 4! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. [ listen, percival may be mr. bitch but he's still going to ask -- ]

Your wounds seem to be recovering, at least. Are you looking for something in particular?

[ he looks over at percy. jay has a tendency of not letting things go when something annoys him, but he will actually be civil instead of passive aggressive as shit, like he was during the trial. ]

I don't think any of this is going to help me.

I have a first aid kit, if that'll be of any use. It's a matter of what you're searching for.

[ he pokes at one of the cuts again. on a closer look, though, he's actually poking the space directly above it. ]

I'm not really sure. I've been using disinfectant on the bites, at least.

[ suddenly, his eyes flutter shut. it's a burst of drowsiness, and the man has spontaneously fallen asleep (while standing up) midspeech. give it a minute and he shakes his head, eyes opening again. ]

...As I was saying, I have antiseptic and an arrangement of creams — some of which are... [ yawn. ] used for inflammation and irritation of the skin. What exactly's ailing you?

I'm sorry, but are we not going to address what just happened here?

[ percy go the fuck to sleep??? ]

It's not of any importance. [ he rubs his face. he's trying Really Hard to be awake for this, listen he was doing FINE until 5 seconds ago. ] Just answer my question.

[ninjay]

Skin irritation, sure, but wouldn't it be easier if you went to bed?

[ he's... not letting this go. ]

[lohengrins]

That's not going to help me. [ he yawns. ] I have to wait this out. The cream I have — it's called hydrocortisone. It may help. I'll provide you with some later.
