( MINGLE - WEEK 3 )
![]() The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it doesn't seem like there's anything out of the ordinary on this lovely Monday morning. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 3! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Without any murders we can't have a murdergame, so go forth and let the bodies hit the floor! As always, feel free to PM us or send us a PP over plurk if you have any questions! ic rulebook | locations | statuses | room assignments private conversations | ic profiles | graveyard | full navigation |

Girge just removes his gloves, eyes the supplies, and then gets to work!!
... Aka he splatters red paint over the paper and maybe adds a few smears for good measure. Look, he painted blood.]
There.
no subject
[this is going to be more work than she thought]
That isn't art, that's just... a smear of red paint! Why don't you make a rainbow, or, like, a tomato or something?
no subject
I thought you wanted me to put my "deep, dark feelings" on paper.
no subject
You've gotta have more feelings than that. Even you!!
no subject
No, not really. My apologies.
no subject
[she takes his hands to dip in brown paint, and starts trying to draw a hot dog underneath the blood splatter.... with his hands...]
no subject
I hope you're not trying to draw what it looks like you're trying to draw.
no subject
[gonna add some mustard there too, even though there is way too much ketchup.... splatter???]
Much better.
no subject
... Congrats. Now there are three colours instead of one.
no subject
Anyway, use that as an example! Try again!
[sits back and waits for the disaster]
no subject
now there's a dead stick figure among the hot dog-y mess
he'll even take inspiration from her earlier drawings and add a scalpel sticking out of it]
no subject
[Winces]
Okay, let's try something else. Clean your hands first! Then come to the friendship bracelet area!
no subject
Roger that.
[HE'LL GO AND DO AS SHE SAYS...
seriously, why haven't you given up yet]
no subject
[never]
[she's waiting with pink, purple, and blue threads. All harmless colours!]
Okay Girge, have you ever braided hair before?
no subject
Can't say that they teach that in military academy.
no subject
[Mabel that's not how the army works]
[anyway, she starts demonstrating how to make a friendship bracelet] So, side thread, side thread, middle thread. You can do this on hair, too! Girls love it.
[nudge nudge]
no subject
[ok then mabel]
no subject
Pshh, of course not! I'm suggesting you romance her and end the war with the love between you!
[ok then]
Anyway! Try out the threading.
no subject
[Well, it doesn't matter now anyway.
But sure, he'll try out the threading, as per Mabel's demand. This is not something he ever imagined himself doing???]
... What exactly am I making here?
no subject
[that should channel his aggression into something... positive...???]
no subject
no subject
And then you can't murder anyone here. Because we're friends.
no subject
Do you usually go around befriending potential murderers?
