( MINGLE - WEEK 3 )
![]() The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it doesn't seem like there's anything out of the ordinary on this lovely Monday morning. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 3! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Without any murders we can't have a murdergame, so go forth and let the bodies hit the floor! As always, feel free to PM us or send us a PP over plurk if you have any questions! ic rulebook | locations | statuses | room assignments private conversations | ic profiles | graveyard | full navigation |

Hey. You out of stickers?
no subject
Not yet! And I can tell you've earned one.
[she puts down her knitting gear and digs out her book]
Any preferences?
no subject
[ things not to say in these circumstances: like half of what Clementine blurts out without thinking. ]
Any flowers?
no subject
[she does dig through her book to pull out a little scratch and sniff daisy]
I'll do you one better: it's a scratch and sniff.
no subject
Yeah, walkers - or, zombies, I mean - and people. Had to. [ She's been over this a bunch so Mabel can have the abbreviated version. Also it is hard to feel ~*~dark~*~ around her??? plus this stickers got her in a pretty good mood ngl ]

[cherish the sticker forever, Clem]
You know about the three part harmony thingy, right?
no subject
The what?
no subject
Three voices in perfect harmony can explode their heads! In other words-- karaoke!
[it's a secret cheat code for the walking dead]
no subject
[ if only ]

[just sayin]
They're pretty nasty, though. I hope we don't have to deal with a zombie invasion here -- having murders is bad enough. I don't wanna deal with the undead on top of that.

[ she shrugs though... different worlds. ]
I asked Craftly earlier, and he said nobody here will turn, so I wouldn't worry about that. There's plenty of other stuff to worry about.
no subject
Whew. That's a relief. We just have to make sure nobody kills anyone else, and avoid all the... insects and... stuff....
no subject
I don't think you can stop them. People are... Bad.
no subject
[rude]
Not all of 'em. Besides, people should know by now that if they kill people, they're going to get boiled in oil or.... whatever.

[she's certainly.. optimistic (?)]
no subject
[ despite expectations and pessimism she genuinely means this question and isn't just trying to be mean ]
no subject
[wait a second, she hadn't considered that part]
Huh. I wonder what happens if nobody kills... it can't be good.
