 Promptly at 8:00 AM, both of the Grandfather clocks will begin to ring, the sound traveling to every corner of the motel. All residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, the amount of times the Grandfather clock rings makes it clear: it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. However... something seems off. Maybe it's a shiver of cold leaving a trail of frost on your skin or a burning sensation in your chest — but it feels like something is drawing you out of your room and into the outdoor hallways. Where will you go? Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. If you plan on grouping up with someone else for a location, we ask that you keep it to 2-3 characters maximum. Once you're all set and ready to rumble, mods will be here to provide evidence if found and set the scene for investigation events. first order of business is to see if anything in the hallway might be fit the outlines. second order is to see if there's a starting point for the blood and sick. ]/small>

The three distinctive bloody footprints between this mess too! My GOD, y'all chill. If Hajime wants to drop low, she can see two different dark haired strands floating among some of the blood.
If she stands up, she'll be able to see something impaled into Room 118. ]

and then after making note of the lack of fitting items and dark hair, hajime will continue on to the room. ]

As she tests her feetsies, she'll notice one around her size, two or so sizes bigger and one even bigger than that. Like three bears, but with shoes. None of them were just right, I guess.
The objects are safety knives pinned into the Room 118 door, with a desk request card resting underneath it. The card reads: "Wait for me." in regular ink. ]

either way, a certain kind of picture is being painted, so hajime hums lightly before turning her attention to 118. ]

[ with a lot of effort, hajime will attempt to pry the safety knives from the door. if she's successful she will.......... pocket them if she's able to? why not.
is there anyone to answer her call or is there something else that might catch her attention? like in video games when the important items blink or something. or does she need to barge into 118 like a criminal. ]
