Promptly at 8:00 AM, both of the Grandfather clocks will begin to ring, the sound traveling to every corner of the motel. All residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, the amount of times the Grandfather clock rings makes it clear: it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. However... something seems off. Maybe it's a shiver of cold leaving a trail of frost on your skin or a burning sensation in your chest — but it feels like something is drawing you out of your room and into the outdoor hallways. [Well. The first thing both Violet and Dirk will notice is a young girl slumped against the side of her head. Blood stains her neck and clothing, still lazily gushing out from the deep cut on her throat. A scalpel is loosely held in her hand, while a splatter of blood coats parts of one of the beds and floor. It seems as if it was released at high pressure, but... Well. That's not the most alarming thing.

After all, Emily Kaldwin is dead.

Another body lays a couple feet away. This one is a male, laying on his back with a pool of blood forming underneath him. His throat has been violently slashed several time, as if someone killed him in a fit of rage, and there are several small stab wounds on his body. A knife is still in his hand, though that doesn't explain why Tsurugi Kamiya is dead. The mirrors in the room are broken, aren't they? Yikes.

But, the figure standing over these corpses? Well—]

[No corpses in the pool. As for Girge, though? He's, uh, probably still in there.]

[Guys. Buddies. Pals.

There's someone else in the room.

Particularly, that someone is sitting on one of the stools while slumped over the bar. There is a cup in front of him, with a note pinned underneath... but that's not the most alarming thing. After all, there's blood on his clothes.]

[ Surprise.

At least Clementine is alive, pulling herself up from Tsurugi's body. The front stomach of her shirt is covered in blood, though her shirt isn't torn at all. None of the blood is hers. She has a bloody kitchen knife still gripped tight in her hand, fingers stained red.

Her body is still heaving with exertion, and her voice and shoulders are equally shaky as she glares down at the mess. ]

Fucking monster.
