( INVESTIGATION - WEEK 4 )
![]() Promptly at 7:59 AM, all residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, there's no reason to doubt it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. Despite the usual cold clinging to the residents' skin, it seems like any other Friday morning. Or, at least, it does — until it suddenly isn't. A large, deafening explosion will rock the motel seconds before 8:00 AM, drowning out the sound of the grandfather clocks and threatening to break the building in half. Those on the motel's west wing will feel the tremors with greater strength, their ears ringing from the volume of the explosion, and just when the walls and ceilings begin to crack... A translucent shimmer coats every room from top to bottom, almost like a shield to keep the structure from falling apart. Now, it's time to see what surprises lay in wait for the survivors. Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. If you plan on grouping up with someone else for a location, we ask that you keep it to 2-3 characters maximum. Once you're all set and ready to rumble, mods will be here to provide evidence if found and set the scene for investigation events. That green hair, and those unmistakable white clothing--he'd recognize it from anywhere. For a moment, Knoll was sure that he may have screamed, but it was all in his head. He couldn't bring himself to say anything for a moment, and his hands began to tremble.
"We will find our way."
She had spoken of peace, community, friendship...she had said that Rausten couldn't lose its crown jewel. Many might have seen her as eccentric, but he knew she meant well. She always had.
Knoll doesn't know if he ever deserved anything good to happen in his life, after what he's done. But, L'arachel? He knew she didn't deserve this. Not her, not any of the other victims. ]
I am sorry...I couldn't...Princess L'arachel...
[ His trembling hands clenched into fists...which unclench because he has to wipe at his eyes, and make a retreat to his room. ]
