( INVESTIGATION - WEEK 4 )

Promptly at 7:59 AM, all residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, there's no reason to doubt it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. Despite the usual cold clinging to the residents' skin, it seems like any other Friday morning. Or, at least, it does — until it suddenly isn't. A large, deafening explosion will rock the motel seconds before 8:00 AM, drowning out the sound of the grandfather clocks and threatening to break the building in half. Those on the motel's west wing will feel the tremors with greater strength, their ears ringing from the volume of the explosion, and just when the walls and ceilings begin to crack... A translucent shimmer coats every room from top to bottom, almost like a shield to keep the structure from falling apart. Now, it's time to see what surprises lay in wait for the survivors. Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. If you plan on grouping up with someone else for a location, we ask that you keep it to 2-3 characters maximum. [ violet's immediately jumping up to run to the door and then. why?? is one of the beds stripped?? who?? what??

ok she's investigating this first for. whatever. she can't just leave the room before checking this bs out?? ]

[It is a mystery.

But while checking the room out, Violet might notice smudges of blood on the ground. Starting from about a feet from the stripped bed, they lead all the way to the door.]

[ jfc what did she sleep through.

she will follow the blood smudges to the door, and open said door. does the trail continue into the hall? ]

[The trail will continue through the door, straight past the door that leads to the Lobby.]
