 The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the buildings surrounding the motel, it seems like the Library is now open. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 4! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. Remember that we can't have a murdergame without any murders, so go forth and let the bodies hit the floor. [ forget the fact that it's gross as hell to be slinging around the remains of a dead person. Kaito is not yet aware as to how Akira's possession of the skeleton arm came to be. he looks at the five holes on his wrist, blood freshly seeping out from three of them and then back to Kaito. ]
It's fresh blood. The wound not so much. I hit it on something on accident. [ and yes, it hurt like fuck. he just has a good poker face. ] Do you want to hold the skeleton arm, Kaito? I'll let you if you ask nicely.

[okay that's a lie he does kind of want to hold it. stares at the arm again and, with a sigh, holds out his hand]

[he asks, as he steps forward to gently take Akira's injured wrist in his hand]
I have some extra bandages, by the way, but you'll have to ask Percy for painkillers and gauze.

[ when Kaito grabs his injured wrist, he will find bloody skelefingies caressing his arm gently. luckily it's dry or else he would be getting the poor guy dirty. ]
They're best used for the others, I think. They were unfortunate enough to get worse injuries than myself.

[ he actually sounds somewhat defensive!!! Akira cares about his exploring buddies, and they need the medical attention much more than he does. he's still beating himself up mentally as to how he wishes he could have done more to help them.
Kaito will be able to take the skeleton arm for a little while, allowing him to re-inspect his wounds as he carefully wipes some of the blood off of his skin. talk of hanging it on the wall makes him give Kid a stern Look, however. ]
Hanging it on the wall means I won't be able to use it any longer. I need it. For self-defense.
