SURVIVORS: 32 The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the buildings surrounding the motel, it seems like the Library is now open. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 4! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. [There's a reason Velvet always checks on the kitchen during her investigations. She's worried someone might just ruin the place she spends almost all her time here. Apparently, Percival is the murderer this week and the brownies are the victim! When she realizes he's the perpetrator of the crime, she grabs him by the collar, shaking him violently.]

You idiot! You're going to start a fire!

[Velvet then throws him to the ground, not really caring if he's actually woken up by now. She turns off the stove and sighs.]

I didn't think you were this stupid...

[lohengrins]

[ his world begins to quake, and sudddnly velvet's is all he can. he's thrown against the tile floor, and in a fight of rage he hastily inches over and viciously grips velvet by the ankle, pulling her backwards. ]

Don't touch me!

[ despite his outburst, he quickly falls asleep again, dozing off onto the ground. ]

[breaksouls]

[She quickly balances herself so she doesn't fall beside him. Instead, Velvet kneels down and just... punches him.]

Wake up! Or is this hero of justice going to get everyone killed over some jam?

[lohengrins]

[ he doesn't wake up until she beats down on one of his injuries — it's like a stake being driven through his skin, and his eyes snap open before he yelps. without further ado, he shoves velvet forcefully enough to send her towards the stove. ]

What are you doing...!?

[ well that woke him up — mostly. there are still traces of drowsiness in his features, and then... ]

Did you take it off the stove?

[breaksouls]

[After being shoved, she recenters and brushes herself off. And she thought she was violent when she woke up...]

Making sure you don't kill us all.

[A nod.]

Yeah. Someone had to, since you weren't going to do anything.
