SURVIVORS: 32 The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the buildings surrounding the motel, it seems like the Library is now open. How quaint. As a reminder, we are now accepting murder proposals for Week 4! If you're interested in having your character commit a murder this week, be sure to send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. [She glances slowly from his legs, to the floor, and then up to his face. This is... this sure is something.]

[gestures wordlessly at the gunk and his legs because she has no idea how to even begin describing this]

[Her eyes go wide when the mouth on his leg bites down, and she starts to reach for him, then pauses.]

Yes... it looks painful. [And also disgusting.]

But it's biting you...

[She doesn't understand how he can say that so calmly.]

That's not - isn't there some way to reverse it...? Your soul isn't meant for this place.

[She's worrying anyway. Yukina bites her lip before kneeling down to get a better look at the mouths on his legs.]

[Her hand hovers over one of the mouths, just out of reach of a waving tongue. Yes, he says it doesn't hurt, but...

Those teeth look so sharp. How can it not?]

It doesn't seem like just a nuisance... do you plan to just bear it for the rest of your time here?

[What if his legs are a sign or worse things to come? Yukina doesn't want to see him suffering, and... if it does get worse, he could very well suffer.]

Just... promise you'll at least think about talking to Craftly-san in between the next trial and the start of next week, when things are quieter. Please.

She visibly relaxes when he assures her that he'll go talk to Craftly about it, and even manages the beginnings of a smile.]

He'll probably drop some kind of hint while trying to be cryptic, though. I think you're smart enough to figure it out, whatever he says or doesn't say.
