SURVIVORS: 40 The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Storage room has unlocked itself overnight. How quaint. Welcome to Week 2's mingle, everyone! As of this week, we are now accepting murder proposals. I wanted it to provide me company. I get lonely at night. [ not exactly the truth, but he isn't lying either. stationary objects are comforting, apparently? ] No, I kid. I intend on doing a few experiments to it is all.

He clarifies that he's kidding before she can ask what he means by that (or ask him why he doesn't just cuddle up to his roommate, but then, Rachel doesn't really seem the cuddling type), and she nods slowly.]

Do you need any help with the experiments...?

[ Yukina can by all means offer herself as tribute for snuggle buddy??? because yeah, good luck getting that kind of attention from Rachel-san. she's sweet and is quite the momma hen, but she isn't about to take things to that level. ]

Oh. Oh. Yukina-san, I didn't know you'd be willing to experiment with me! [ he's smiling as he continues walking, showing that he will continuously tease her even if it requires multi-tasking. ] If you'd be so kind, I wouldn't mind your assistance.

[She doesn't understand what's so surprising about it, really. Yukina's willing to help him carry the mannequin to his room - it's not such a leap to help him with his experiments, then. Is it?]
