SURVIVORS: 40 The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors. The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel. And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Storage room has unlocked itself overnight. How quaint. Welcome to Week 2's mingle, everyone! As of this week, we are now accepting murder proposals. If you're interested in having your character murder someone this week, please send in your proposal before Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST. [ It's not that hard for Ryou to be dumb and unguarded: he's barely been sleeping, he's just kinda moving for the sake of moving and definitely not sleeping. At first, when he comes across the fountain, he thinks he's hallucinating-- but then he's pitched face-first into the suds, and they are very much real.

Now he's awake and alarmed!! Thanks!!! ]

Hajimeee--! What did you do that for?!

Wahoooooo!!!!! [ alarmed, awake, but clean.

hajime squawks happily, her voice so pleased and sing song-y that it's a chirp. ] It's nice to take a bubble bath and relax from time to time!!! And with such a pretty setting, wow! So nice!

[ she goes as far as dipping her hands into the sudsy water, letting some pool into the cup of her hands. she lets it flow over ryou's scalp, and then begins to massage it in. ]

You're so cute, Ryoomie!

[ He winces and instintively pulls away, but, once he realizes what he's done, he seems to chill out a little more? He's still tense, but it doesn't look like he's about to flee. ]

Ah-- Thank you? [ A beat. ] Is this really necessary though... This isn't really the place for a bath.

[ hajime hums, never haltering. she nods in tune with her ministrations, making sure to massage as lightly as possible without losing the goal. there's meaning in her movements. ]

I think... this place is sort of calming. Which is nice! In! [ deep breath ] Out! [ and a slow exhale.

maybe ryoomi can figure out that she means to chill him out. ]
