SURVIVORS: 40

The sun is shining, the air conditioner units hum as they always do, and a gentle morning breeze blows against the windows. The scent of pine cones and evergreen follow you wherever you go in the motel, save for the parking lot and outdoor pool. It seems like someone was very generous with the detergent while moping the floors.

The two grandfather clocks (one on each floor) will ring with each passing hour, indicating the time of day without fail. With this knowledge — they'll note the motel will continue to be surrounded by fog until 8:00 AM on the dot. It is at that hour that the fog will begin to recede. Not enough to reveal the whole city, but enough to allow residents to explore some of the buildings surrounding the motel.

And speaking of the motel, it seems like the Storage room has unlocked itself overnight. How quaint.

Welcome to Week 2's mingle, everyone! As of this week, we are now accepting murder proposals. [ Girge is speaking Tsurugi's language... Well, the other language that isn't you know, dat sweet cash money. Papercraft language. ]

Tsurugi Kamiya, 26 years old, I'll do anything for money♥ nice to meet you, Girge-chan~! Here, here. I'll show you.

[ He'll grab a piece of paper and hand it to Girge, and then get his own piece of paper. ]

I'll walk you through the steps, kay? Start by folding it like this- [ please don't make me google how to fold a paper airplane and describe it out tho ]

I'm not paying you to teach me, before you get the wrong idea.

[IT'S COOL Girge watches attentively, in part because he's analyzing the aerodynamics of the airplane as Tsurugi makes it (he's a mech pilot, okay, this is kind of his thing), following suit with his own piece of paper.]

Fine, fiiine.

[ A shrug, a missed opportunity! It's okay, he has a better idea if he wins..!! Maybe.

But damn Girge this isn't rocket science, but okay... Okay. AAAND after they're done-- ]

Ready now?

[It's not rocket science but surely there are more efficient airplanes one could make!! Not that Girge, like, actually knows what an "airplane" is, but he can sort of guess.]

Ready whenever you are.

[ It's airplane science..... But nice, they're both ready to GO. Tsurugi positions himself at top of the steps, and gets his plane ready. ]

Okay! On the count of three--

1... 2... 3.. Go!

[ And woooosh... ]

[woooooosh...

The planes glide along, as paper airplanes are wont to do, before finally drifting to the ground.

Aaaaaaaaand...

... It looks like the winner is Tsurugi's! By however little.]

Hmm.

Heeey! Looks like I wooon~ That'll be 50,000 yen if we make it out here alive, kay?

[ was this ever a bet? well, now it is. ]

[There's a pause, as Girge debates his options.

He could accept his defeat graciously.

Or he could challenge Tsurugi to a rematch since, frankly, this was probably based mostly on luck.

Or he could craft a better airplane and challenge Tsurugi to a rematch!]

[OR HE COULD JUST PUSH TSURUGI DOWN THE STAIRS.]

Hey-- hey, hey? Woah!

[ UHM, RUDE MUCH GIRGE?

Tsurugi didn't see it coming. Or maybe half see it coming?

Because he's going to grab onto Girge's sleeve or wrist and bring him down with Tsurugi! EYE FOR AN EYE!! Or maybe Girge can be a good cushion, who knows. ]

[AND DOWN THEY BOTH GO though Girge refuses to be a cushion, thanks!!

and then they both died rip]
