( INVESTIGATION - WEEK 1 )

Promptly at 8:00 AM, both of the Grandfather clocks will begin to ring, the sound traveling to every corner of the motel. All residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, the amount of times the Grandfather clock rings makes it clear: it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. However... something seems off. Maybe it's a shiver of cold leaving a trail of frost on your skin or a burning sensation in your chest — but it feels like something is drawing you out of your room and into the outdoor hallways. Where will you go? Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. He was in the room after curfew. All three of us agreed that we weren't gonna break any rules this early in the game.

He just wasn't there when we woke up this morning.

I won't bother you with too many questions then. You're probably tired.

[kind of ignoring the execution part because lol right now he's too mad]

[ D.Va was ready to get out of the room — she already has her clothes draped over her arm. She won't be staying in that room, now knowing what happened. ]

We'll find out who did it, you know? Me, Perc, and Marty woke up after those stupid gongs went off and ... I wish we knew what happened. We wouldn't have —

[ She sounds apologetic. ]

[yeah who would want to sleep in a room where a dead body was found??]

[quiet for a moment, before he nods at her]

Yeah. Least anyone can do, right? Can't say I knew Jason well, but I'm pretty sure he was a good kid.
