[Light is setting up what appears to be a card game on a table before him. They’re basically Magic the Gathering cards, but since they were granted to him so generously by this place, the art on them is laughable at best. They mostly seem to consist of little troll people and clerics, because that’s exceedingly helpful.
He looks up at whomever approaches, and says rather blandly:]
Want to play? I don’t exactly know how, but we can make something up.
[(Distract him from the very disturbing oddities appearing on his arm… something that looks an awful lot like sharpened teeth in a messy row. He’s distinctly wearing long sleeves to ignore it, because it’s just a trick of the mind. It’s just a trick of the mind, it must be.)]
wednesday afternoon, library
[First thing's first, the dead monster here smells. Light grimaces, bringing up a hand to cover his mouth and nose as he looks at the dead, headless thing. Ugh.
(The (perceived) teeth on his left forearm hurts now, they gnash in his flesh, each movement excruciating when it happens. Thankfully they’re rather still… for now.)
As a result, his voice is a little muffled, a little strained.]
My question is… what was strong enough to take off its head?
