( INVESTIGATION - WEEK 3 )

Promptly at 8:00 AM, both of the Grandfather clocks will begin to ring, the sound traveling to every corner of the motel. All residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, the amount of times the Grandfather clock rings makes it clear: it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. However... something seems off. Maybe it's a shiver of cold leaving a trail of frost on your skin or a burning sensation in your chest — but it feels like something is drawing you out of your room and into the outdoor hallways. Where will you go? Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. If you plan on grouping up with someone else for a location, we ask that you keep it to 2-3 characters maximum. [ Girge can deal with the body outside the lounge, Nagasone will investigate Rachel. Also the room because- ]

What the hell...?

[ He takes note of the blood on the walls, the floor's footprints... back to Rachel. How does it look like she died? ]

[ With Rachel's frame oddly slumped in the chair, it's pretty obvious on how she died. She has been stabbed several times in the stomach, a lot of her blood soaking her clothes and lap. Her limp fingers drip in blood, trickling to the floor below. ]

[ That's... brutal. Poor Rachel.

He'll give her wheelchair a good look-over, and then chek around around the lounge, mainly the bar counter and tables. They're mirrored and shiny, after all. Anything out of place besides blood and a body? ]

[ He's in luck! Aside from the large bloody footprints around Rachel's chair leading out of the lounge, if he shimmies behind the bar counter, he'll find something super fun!

A pair of blood covered gloves and a bucket coated with blood inside and outside. Looks like it may have something to do with the wall too. Want to take a look? ]

[ This takes the concept of a bloody mary to a whole new low... Okay seriously, what the fuck. Obviously he won't know where the blood came from (if it's Rachel that's terrible), but being a sword gives you the perks of not wanting to pass out or lose your lunch at the sight or smell of blood. Still gross though

He'll take a look, but not touch it. Don't know where it's been :( ]

[ Look, even a sword can appreciate that this is A Lot. As he inspects, he'll notice that everything is rather legible.

On one the messages on the eastern wall — KILL — will be slightly smudged, unlike the rest. ]

[ Duly noted, "Kill" is weird...! Back to the gloves and bucket... Ugh, time to check those too. Are they like cleaning gloves of a certain size? Also, how much blood is left in there? Did it leave any mess from being moved, because it seems like it was hidden. ]

[ Looks like they're a one-size fits all! There's not much left in the bucket, though. It looks like it may have been used for other things, re: the wall. It looks like there's a few thin trails of blood — not smears or footprints — that can be assumed from moving the bucket around the room. ]

[ Of course...

While we're here and since you can't take a bloody footprint to evidence... how big is it compared to his? ]

[ The width of the footprint looks similar to his, but the length is smaller. ]

[ Oh boy... Anyway, is there anything else to find in the Lounge of bloody cocktails?
