( INVESTIGATION - WEEK 3 )

Promptly at 8:00 AM, both of the Grandfather clocks will begin to ring, the sound traveling to every corner of the motel. All residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, the amount of times the Grandfather clock rings makes it clear: it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. However... something seems off. Maybe it's a shiver of cold leaving a trail of frost on your skin or a burning sensation in your chest — but it feels like something is drawing you out of your room and into the outdoor hallways. Where will you go? Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. If you plan on grouping up with someone else for a location, we ask that you keep it to 2-3 characters maximum. [ Outward, they'd see the bloody footprints lead across the outdoor hallway towards the stairs. They seem to be getting fainter as time goes on. ]

[ he's going to double check to make sure there isn't anything they might miss out here first?? like if it seems like the prints were definitely headed to the stairs or maybe a room or something??? ]

[ The way it looks like: the bloody footprints were from the Indoor First Floor Hallway outside of the lounge. The lobby was one of the few points that were the trail goes through. They lead to the outdoor hallway, up the staircase, and towards the second floor.

Nothing else of value on the first floor! ]

Ugh, why does blood have to dry so quickly?

[Dipper is gonna keep track of how big the footsteps were by drawing the length in a notebook so we can logic the inevitable comparison during trial tomorrow]

[ Dipper, they're bigger than yours, that's for sure. They're large, it seems!

And they'll notice before going back towards the lounge for a clusterfuck, the footprints gradually disappear upstairs, as if the blood was just wearing off with every step. Just to reiterate.
