( INVESTIGATION - WEEK 2 )

Promptly at 8:00 AM, both of the Grandfather clocks will begin to ring, the sound traveling to every corner of the motel. All residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, the amount of times the Grandfather clock rings makes it clear: it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. However... something seems off. Maybe it's a shiver of cold leaving a trail of frost on your skin or a burning sensation in your chest — but it feels like something is drawing you out of your room and into the outdoor hallways. Where will you go? Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. Either the staff took them to, like, clean. Or...someone did to try to clean up murder evidence? Or maybe to poison someone with bleach. Genuinely not sure?

I heard there was still blood all over one of the scenes, so I guess we can eliminate it as a factor from that one.

It may really just be staff cleanin' stuff, then. We can probably ask Craftly tomorrow.

I hope that's all it was. The more mess there is, the easier the trial will be.

Yeah, you ain't wrong. We actually need more, like...evidence. Noooot that we can rely on it?

Still, the more the better. Do you think everyone's found everything? I checked out the gardens, but there was nothing out of place, there.

Hope so. I feel like they'd tell us if we didn't if only so it's...more entertaining?

I don't know. If I were arranging a fucked up game like this, I think I might be more amused watching everyone fail hopelessly.

I was tryin' to be mildly optimistic, but you do have a pretty big point, there.

It's chill, if we're bein' honest it ain't really mine, either. After last week, I'm not sure these "trials" are really things we're meant to, uh, win? Also, there were a lot of dead bodies. Does that mean more killers we can vote for or just...one person we might get wrong, somehow? Like, there are a ton of not so hot questions to be asked here.

Then we get to keep a bunch of killers around. Yep. Assumin' this was not all the work of one person, which I...actually am basically thinkin' it was not?

It seems really all over the place, so I don't think it was coordinated, even. But... I don't know, maybe I'm missing details.
