( INVESTIGATION - WEEK 2 )
![]() Promptly at 8:00 AM, both of the Grandfather clocks will begin to ring, the sound traveling to every corner of the motel. All residents will wake up as if it was any other morning. There's the usual hum from the air conditioner units and the sound of harsh wind blowing against the windows. While the sun may not have ever set, the amount of times the Grandfather clock rings makes it clear: it's time to get up and greet the brand new day. However... something seems off. Maybe it's a shiver of cold leaving a trail of frost on your skin or a burning sensation in your chest — but it feels like something is drawing you out of your room and into the outdoor hallways. Where will you go? Welcome to the investigation log! Please put the name of the location your character will be exploring in the subject header. If you plan on grouping up with someone else for a location, we ask that you keep it to 2-3 characters maximum. We'll be tagging in with the mod account at 6:10 PM EST to give everyone time to jump in. Happy body hunting! ic rulebook | locations | statuses | room assignments private conversations | ic profiles | graveyard |

[Sewers and amputation is not conductive for appetite?]
I wouldn't recommend going into the burnt out buildings without quite a few fellows to back you up, though. It's much more dangerous than you think.

I'm no healer, but I'll do what I can. You're going to have to eat once it's over though - no point in letting the blood loss kill you after you've come this far.
[The mention of danger just gets her to look intrigued, alas...] Noted. Whatever did this to you - do we need to worry about it coming back to finish the job while we're in the middle of this?

Yessiree, you have no need to fret over the sewer goddess making an appearance. It wasn't my cleanest shot but it did the trick.

[well whatever she was expecting them to have fought, IT SURE WASN'T THAT. Aloy will roll with it though, especially since they both seem proud of their accomplishment.]
Nice work putting it down, then! Sounds like you two have quite the story to tell once you're back on your feet. [or foot she has to work very hard to stop herself from saying]
