It still wouldn't explain where he got the hanger, unless someone from Room 111 lent it to him, but no one said they saw him prior to waking up.
...Sorry, I'm just thinking out loud. [ He takes a moment to think quietly. ] The Rules do say though that everyone has to be in their rooms by midnight and can't leave until six, so that's pretty strange too, don't you think? Maybe Jason got in trouble because he broke the rules.
